Species/Color ideas for Fix-it Felix?

Starting up a new fanpet of one of my favorite characters. I plan to do an overlay, but I still like their original color/species to match the character's personality.
As for color, I was considering Angelic, Chibi, Sweetheart, and Spectrum. I'm completely stumped on species though, so I could really use some ideas.

Makes me wish they had some kind of retro or pixel pets or something...

I think any sweet/bashful looking pets would be good for him! For some reason, the sweetheart rreign is what first comes to mind for me.
Or maybe a gold-colored pet, to match his hammer?

I quite agree with Snakes post. Felix does have his bashful moments in the movie, and the pet/pose just seems to fit his personality perfectly
Personally I'd go dusk...blue...he wears blue...but I'm just odd like that.
Personally, I focus on him being kind of cute/innocent/'golly gee willikers!' looking. I know he (eventually) expresses a bit more personality and range, but it's just where my mind goes.
(slight color match, but I personally prefer a more standing pose that could be holding a hammer, like the others)

(though personally, I dislike the idea of scribble for something so... not scribble, the expression = A+)
Edit: I quite like the Sweetheart Reign as well.. I just dunno about all that pink, but the pose is great. Steamwork Mahar almost got included too (looks like it's fixing something) BUT the look is just... off. Plus it's actually fixing it, not just magic hammer boink
